I didn’t plan to build a career in community and memberships. I stumbled into it, and it changed everything.

At the time, I was working as a Marketing Manager in a role that left me anxious, overwhelmed, and searching for something that felt more meaningful. When I applied for a role with Marisa Peer’s team, I had no idea what a Community Manager actually did. But that one decision opened the door to work that felt different , work that really mattered.

Very quickly, I realised this wasn’t just another job. I was helping people connect, supporting them through change, and bringing them together during a challenging global moment. That experience showed me the real power of community, not as a buzzword, but as something that can transform businesses and people’s lives.

Since then, I’ve made it my mission to help others build communities and memberships that are not only successful, but sustainable.

WANNA KNOW MORE?

  • Over the years, I’ve built and managed communities for some incredible organisations and leaders, including Jim Kwik, Tony Robbins, Jay Shetty, Marisa Peer, Matthew Hussey, Mindbody, CoachVille, and more.

Today, I work with businesses as a Fractional Chief Community Officer, helping them design and implement community and membership strategies that support growth, engagement, and long-term sustainability.

From launching new memberships to fixing struggling communities, my role is simple: to help businesses turn community into a meaningful part of how they operate, not just an add-on.

  • I believe community and memberships should be central to a business, and they shouldn’t feel complicated or overwhelming to build.

A thriving membership isn’t just about recurring revenue. It strengthens customer relationships, improves products, supports marketing, and creates opportunities for innovation. When community is done well, it touches every part of a business.

My approach is practical, honest, and focused on what works in the real world.

No fluff. No unnecessary complexity. Just clear strategy and steady progress.

  • I’m based in the north-east of Scotland after recently returning home from Canada, where my husband and I lived through -40 degree winters in Alberta before spending a year in Toronto. Living in the city reignited my love for street art, which now inspires much of my branding and creative style.

These days, you’ll usually find me by the sea. I love paddleboarding, walking outdoors, and hunting for hidden gems in thrift shops. I’m currently studying for a Business Management degree, navigating perimenopause with a sense of humour, and learning to enjoy decaf coffee whether I like it or not.

We share our home with a cat (Daisy), and my dog (Roy), who proudly holds the title of Chief Nonsense Officer.

And yes, I can still recite every lyric to Boom! Shake the Room by The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air but sometimes still don’t know what I went in the kitchen for!
